SPRING CLEANING

Every year the cold of winter melts away and spring brings us a new beginning. A very special one for all of us this year. The sun shines brighter, birds sing louder and nature is waking up yet again to show us how wonderful life is! As tiny flowers ease their way to the surface of the ground, the human soul is apt to revive.
As Oscar Wilde has once beautifully said: "A flower blossoms for its own joy."
We hope you are ready to blossom and do it for the sake of your own happiness! What’s vital for a flower in order to blossom is by any means clean, rich and healthy soil. Yes, we are once again talking about your home! A clean space where every detail combines to form an inspiring, healthy and nourishing atmosphere for you to feel pleasant and safe at all times. Sounds wonderful, doesn’t it?
What’s vital for a flower in order to blossom is by any means clean, rich and healthy soil. Yes, we are once again talking about your home! A clean space where every detail combines to form an inspiring, healthy and nourishing atmosphere for you to feel pleasant and safe at all times. Sounds wonderful, doesn’t it?
Well for that you will have to agree on our terms – every home is in need of a good spring cleaning, especially if you’re an allergy sufferer! What’s happening around you is an accurate indicator of what’s happening in your head. Cleaning out your space will help you feel better – more organised, content, lighter, fresher, more motivated and willing to blossom! We promise!
MAKE A PLAN
To start with, make a plan or create a checklist for a successful spring cleaning! Decide on the area you are keen to declutter or clean first! Where do you skip during routine cleaning? Maybe some corner in your apartment hasn’t seen you in a while as you keep throwing things in that direction without even looking. Possibly, you’re a cleaning freak and everything in your house is sterile clean.
Whatever the situation, there is always something left to do, in every home. Start with something!

Studies show that a disorganized and cluttered home adds to your stress level. It signals to your brain that work isn’t done. The scientific implications of inhaling dust, combined with the stress of coming back to or living in a messy and dirty space, can really take its toll. Especially while we’re still always at home – clean off the dust, organize your work space, clean out your drawers or kitchen cabinets.
For these little tasks you don’t even need to dedicate more that 15 minutes a day, yet the results will make the corners of your lips reach for your ears every time you’ll be walking by. Why not make yourself happy?
BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND
Always work from top to bottom! When you think about having a weekend dedicated for some serious spring cleaning sessions, it’s important to start from the ceilings and work your way down. If you live in a house with more than one floor, always start with the top floor. This way debris can find its way downward and keep you from having to re-dust or re-clean your space.
In case you own a vacuum that has an extension hose, use it to get cobwebs and dust from your ceilings and fans first. Then dust your furniture and other items before vacuuming all the dust and debris off your floors. It will save you time and energy! Work smarter, not harder!
Walls, floors and windows are important! People usually forget about that. Not all dust settles on the floor and other surfaces. Just use a damp towel to wipe down walls and blinds, again, starting from the top and working your way down.
Oh, and the windows! It’s how you see the world, like a large manifestation of your glasses! So important to clean those after such a hectic winter! However be careful or have assistance if you’re not feeling too stable while holding your arms up! We never want something good turn into the opposite – know your strengths!
“In the process of letting go, you will lose many things from the past, but you will find yourself.”
Don’t ignore your kitchen and bathroom! It may seem like the biggest work, but these are the rooms you’re probably using the most. Cleaning out your pantry, wiping the inside of your refrigerator.
Throw away anything that’s old or haven’t had its moment to shine in a while! Change up your shower curtain or get a new toothbrush, how long have you had yours already? Some cosmetics you don’t like or never use? Check the expiration date on all your bathroom belongings and get rid of the things that can’t be here to serve you anymore.
Letting go is a mastery, it’s not easy, but it’s absolutely crucial in order to move forward. Let go of all the dirt and all the clutter (both mental and physical)! As Deepak Chopra says: “In the process of letting go, you will lose many things from the past, but you will find yourself.”
We hope this spring you find or rediscovered a new edge of your personality and blossom like the most beautiful flower that you are! Life is wonderful!
Love,
